Tears of joy are now falling from the eyes of Darling Son. It seems like the possibility of Toys-R-Us was too distracting. Now that there is no possibility of a distracting trip he was able to relax and do his math! Happy...happy...joy...joy!! What took 30 minutes of whining and crying earlier was completed in less than 5 minutes and tears of joy replaced frustration.
Lesson learned: Never try to use shopping as an incentive to complete school work. Totally my bad and not his.
